Taking Steps To End Alzheimer's

The walk begins at 9:30am.  We are stationed along the side of the walk
near the end.  The bateria will play as 5000 people walk by!
Our job is to provide entertainment and encouragement to the participants.

Dancers are encouraged to join us, in costume to dance, or in t-shirt
to play Ganza with the bateria.  This "gig" is really just a great party!

Treasure Island has magnificent views of the City and the East Bay.
Also, the Fleet Week Air show will happen later in the afternoon, and can be
watched from Treasure Island (quite a treat).  So plan to come play for
the walk and then stay for the airshow.

But, bring a picnic, as there is not much food available on the Island.
If someone is motivated, we can organize a potluck.  Otherwise, bring
your own food, and plan for a fun day.  Sorry about the early start!
We should have a BBQ going, so you can plan to cook meat at the
pic-nic if you want.

For the picnic, we will be on the lawn near 9th Street and Palm Avenue
and we will have our picnic/pagode/jam session on the lawn overlooking
the bay with great views of the Fleet Week Air show going on all afternoon.
