SAMBAO is invited to participate in the Santa Cruz
Carnival Street Parade on Saturday June 8th,  Oba!!
We will be group 19 out of 22.

This year's scheme is "We Are The World", and the
Carnival parade is expected to be an exciting display
of creative costumes and performance goups
representing the diversity of the community.

The CHECK-IN and staging area will be on
Pacific Avenue and Cathcart Street.

The Parade begins promptly at 10:00 am,
and the group should be fully assembled and in position by 9:30 am.
The parade route will be Pacific Avenue up to the Post Office and then right
onto Front Street. The area in front of Comerica Bank (up to River St) will be
for disembarking. After the parade, participants are encouraged to come over to
San Lorenzo Park via the pedestrian footbridge for the AWARD PRESENTATIONS
and the day-long MUSIC FESTIVAL.  The World Music Festival will take place from
11 am to 6 pm and will include three stages of entertainment, vendor and food booths
and a kid zone.

Parking Info

Parking will be available at the corner of Cedar
Street and Lincoln Street, on Church Street between
Pacific Ave and Cedar Street, and at the corner of
Cathcart Street and Front Street.
