Yo everybody! ok, so i'm planning another big party in golden
gate park for my going-away party (i leave for
rio two days later). now i've got this amazing deal lined up
where i live and work in san francisco 6 months a
year, and live and play in rio de janeiro 6 months a year...so, LET'S
PARTY! i've reserved the same meadow
where i had my going-away party last october...and my welcome-back
party last june.

NOTE: if it rains, i might move it to my house, which isn't
far from the
park -- 2200 ortega at 29th avenue. feel free to call if
there's any doubt

please bring a food item (meat for the grill, vegies, salads, side dishes,
chips, desserts, anything/everything!)
also do plan to bring whatever you plan to imbibe...this is a potluck,
so please contribute.
bring lawn chairs, blankets, drums, FOLDING TABLES (PLEASE!), etc. etc.
IF ANYONE IS WILLING TO HANDLE THE BARBEQUE FOR AN HOUR, PLEASE OFFER
WHEN
YOU GET THERE -- my wonderful friend surdo dan always does it the whole
party long, and doesn't get to
circulate and enjoy the other parts of the party, so i'm trying to
get some replacement help for him. it's fun being
the churrasqueiro -- you cook the meat and cut it up, and people swarm
around you like a movie star and they
all appreciate you and you get to meet everybody! such a deal!
i'll provide plenty of charcoal, plates and cups and plasticware, etc....and
a collection of fun, interesting,
lovely people (that means YOU...yes it does!).
everyone on earth is invited and welcome, so bring anyone and everyone who is into it!
i've got a permit for the space to have a barbeque with drumming, no
amplified sound...so bring drums
and dirty dancing shoes and frisbees and let's have fun! write or call
